How a commission works

A real brief, not a vague ask
You receive a full commission package: the subject, the exact LEGO set your build must come from, its complete piece inventory, palette guidance, and the quality checklist your build will be assessed against. No guessing.

Design from one real set
Every build must be genuinely completable from the pieces of a single set a family already owns. That constraint is the craft — and it's why a designer's work can reach a family's home without anyone buying a brick.

Checked before it ships
Every build is verified piece by piece against the set's real inventory, then walked step by step in our own instruction viewer before it goes live. If a step can't be followed, it doesn't ship.

Paid on acceptance
A fixed, agreed fee per accepted build, paid promptly. You're credited privately; builds appear in the app under the Build Again catalogue.

Already made something?

You don't need a commission. If you've built an original model that works from the pieces of a single set, send it and we'll take a look. Accepted builds go into the library credited to you by name, with a link to your work.

There's no fee for these — commissions are the paid route — and the same standard applies: it has to be genuinely completable from that set, and a child has to be able to follow it.

Sending a build gives us permission to compile and adapt it into our step-by-step format and publish it in the app with your credit. We'll send you the full licence terms in writing before anything of yours goes live.
